so...I have no on earth idea why you haven't been discovered and signed by a record label because you have a good sound, its fresh, clean, and you have good vocal control. your lyrics have good structure too, so i dont know why this hasn't gotten into a rep's hands yet. i really like "looking straight at me". for the simple fact that when you said "they say 'you have it easy', making music for a living, but it aint so glamorous believe me, success aint just a given, mind falls lips stall, cue the stuttering" it reminds me of my early experiences as a performer (I had terrible stage fright) and how I now work myself over time to make sure I have things right. commanding a stage is hard work, but I love it and I gather, you do as well. right now Im at a school for the performing arts, it's focus is broadway but Im also a lyricist and I plan to make CD's. my biggest challenge is writing an accompaniment to my songs. I can write vocal lines and lyrics for days. but getting what I hear in my head, out on a keyboard leaves me with a headache...but if i do voiceovers and such. it has a different sound. but i like it, and it fits more of my style. it goes to show that if you try to fit someone elses mold, you will fail miserably, but if you break out of that, and be what your heart is. you will find happiness and be all you were meant to be, and do all you were made to do.

hey hey you you... yeah you. hah. so i hope you dont mind, i'm thinking about singing and playing one of your songs for a concert at my school. tons of people will be there, and i figure if they hear it they will go check you out, and no, dont worry, im not going to brutally murder your music! hehe. but i really hope you dont mind it, and im really thinking it will get you tons of publicity! i'll let you know how it goes.
